The hotel as a well-cushioned cave in a breathtaking mountain scenery

After a construction period of barely two years, the opening ceremony of the Tauern Spa World will take place on December 2, 2010.

Alpine character and modern design characterize the appearance of the 48,000 m2 thermal spa and of the hotel with wellness area and panorama pool.
Each of the 160 panorama rooms is equipped with high-quality materials that reflect the alpine landscape.
The interior design was created by Vienna-based ZEYTINOGLU architects, who have successfully established themselves as designers of prestigious international hotel projects.

The decoration of the rooms draws on natural materials, robust and classy at the same time. Natural oak together with fresh and bright colors create warmth and coziness. Lilac, orange, green and red in contrast with calm shades of natural beige convey a sense of well-being and security.

The interior reflects the character of the regional alpine environment by using elements that are found in the surrounding landscape. One of the challenges of the design was to merge unspoilt nature with the sophisticated ambiance of a four star hotel and at the same time to create appealing scenarios for the guests of the thermal bath.

Das Hotel als gepolsterte Höhle inmitten einer atemberaubenden Berglandschaft

Nach knapp zwei Jahren Bauzeit wird das Tauern Spa World am 2. Dezember 2010 in Kaprun feierlich eröffnet. Alpiner Charakter und zeitgenössisches Design prägen das Erscheinungsbild der Räumlichkeiten der 48.000 m² großen Therme und des Hotels mit eigenem Wellnessbereich und Panoramapool. Jedes der 160 Panoramazimmer ist mit hochwertigen Materialien ausgestattet und spiegelt die alpine Landschaft wider.
Das Design dafür stammt vom Wiener Architekturbüro ZEYTINOGLU, das sich bereits international einen Namen in der Konzeption und Umsetzung von prestigeträchtigen Hotelprojekten machen konnte.
